Combining Chris's suggestion & Adrian's, plus some of these bits?

The 92.5º offset bend works OK for easing the alignment of the driver's side demist tube on RHD 2CVs, so should be OK with the main heater tubes.

cheers chaps - screwfix can be really great sometimes

i'll let you know how i get on - marrying M28 cowling pipes to the Ami bulkhead junction (where you can switch between screen or feet) is going to be a challenge

are M4 and M28 heater cowlings interchangeable - maybe it would be easier to do that????? anyone know???

keep warm

I'm not sure, but I don't think the bulkhead side of the heater system of an ami6 is the same for both m28 and m4 engines, certainly there's no way the heat exchangers from an m28 2cv fit an m4 ami6, and even modified to fit there's no way of easily plumbing them in as they exit in completely the wrong place. If you're fitting m28 heat exchangers to a previously m4 car, don't forget to cut holes in the inner wings for dump tubes (like I havent done yet...)

Post Re: Heater Tubes - making a junction
hi

i've got to work with what i've got really. i think i'm going to have to make a junction out of tin cans - the standard steel tin can is a good fit into the pipes. it's getting the NS pipe from the cowling to the junction that's going to be tricky - and using the existing 'switch junction' is almost impossible as the rear brake pipe / master cylinder isn't allowing it at all....which is a shame as i wanted to get warm air to my feet to dry out any wet....

EDIT - I'VE JUST LOOKED AT YOUR AMI PHOTOS RUSS & IT SEEMS I'D FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE O/S HOLE UNDER THE BATTERY TRAY....SO I CAN USE THAT TO GET SOME WARM AIR TO THE FEET....
once it's done - i'll post some photos up

cheers
will
