just finished the new floors and put the original grey vinyl mat back down its thin with a horse hair backing apart from being old and grubby its also got a lump cut out from it,so it looks a mess really has anyone found a similar type of material colour and texture wise doesnt have to be exact but something similar,dont really want to carpet it looked at "woolies" earlier they dont seem to have anything and they are shut until the new year thanks matt |

As far as I know, the same material is remade but only available for Citroen DS, and they won't make it Ami shaped, for some reason. Viking is breaking an Ami6, maybe He has a good quality used mat? |

The mat Matt is after sounds like the Ami 6 original grey from before 1968. Not sure what the later Ami 6 have. The Ami 6 I'm breaking had no floor covering in it. Our red Ami 6 from 1967 have nice original grey mats in her but don't want to part with it. We are looking for 2 other Ami's 1 Ami 6 before 1968 and 1 Ami 8 for parts but thats no good to Matt right now. |

Thanks for the replies ive had a look about today and i will probably buy something similar in black which should do the trick just need to speak to them after the new year and i will let you know |
