Hi my wiper motor is currently exposed and whilst this is the case it has occurred to me i should maintain it - if indeed this is necessary??? do i grease the linkages? squirt stuff here, squirt stuff there? they work fine, but i thought i'd take the opportunity whilst the dash is off and they are being used lots at the moment... thanks and Joyeux Noel!! Will p.s. - really will make more effort in 2010 to attend some rallies etc. |

My linkages were quite stiff when I first got the car so I took the lot out, cleaned it up and greased any joints and it was fine. So I'd say "definately yes" |

There was an article in the 2cvgb mag a couple of months ago, regarding servicing the older type of wiper motor. Serviced the one on the Dyane and a spare, quite straight forward. Could scan a copy and E mail if you like. |
