Maybe, sure it may work possibly, who knows. It's the same principle surely, fluid lock....

This might be an idiot question, but why won't the pressure of me putting my foot on the brake push the handbrake master cylinders piston back instead of making the rear brakes work as it should?

Won't there be something physically stopping it? Either a circlip, or design the lever and rod so that it can't be pushed back.

Ok you want the easyish cheap way to do it? Modify a bog standard LHM 2cv master cyl. I don't think I've ever taken one apart but other tandem cylinders have two separate pistons in them, take them out and then refit whichever looks most appropriate to the front section of the cylinder, modify it first if necessary and operate it with a longer rod.

Ignore the two rearmost ports, weld a different fitting over the front reservoir port, and Robert's your aunty's live in lover so to speak...

Another (4x4) approach....

Front axle in the back, empty gearbox in the back (if possible small drummer), driveshafts on, connect handbrake (possibillity to do 2 brakeleavers for cornering at the spot) thats it..

8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Would take me about a weekend to realize... and another to make it shiny

That would be better, but probably beyond my concentration span. Does a Front engined rwd 2cv have the power to make it worthwhile?
