 Re: Gearpox well i never Ive been merrily replacing input shafts with gay abandon, no other care other than the tooth count - they all seem to be the same pitchdiameter of the pinion doesnt matter an 8' ,20 tooth pinion being driven by a 10 tooth 4' pinion has the same result as a 2",20 tooth pinion being driven by a 1" 10 tooth pinion (and FFs dont anyone go wotking out the relative diameter of the pinions based on the ratio - its an illustration based of figurative numbers ....its been a long and trying day KEN!)

Re: Gearpox So, my boss is away tomorrow and I could, conceivably remove the gearbox from the car. Will I need anything other than the bearing?

Re: Gearpox Just haven't had time to do this yet, but if anybody else wants the gearbox to repair themselves I've fitted another one and don't need it.
