Re: B7 plugs? I assume the transition from first to second choke is about half throttle? Mine seems a bit hesitant sometimes but never thought anything of it. The dyane carb has a 107 jet I think. No idea what my 2cv carb has

Sam said My car drove nicely but was hesitant and reluctant at low speed in 2nd, would a bigger jet make any difference to that or is it the nature of my car?

Re: B7 plugs? Not noticeably, as the improvement in power on the first choke when it's no longer running lean means that you'll probably use a smaller throttle opening to travel at the same cruising speed. A mixture which is too lean burns slower than one which is correct and may even be still burning when the exhaust valve opens. ken. samfieldhouse wrote: Does that decrease economy?
