Blimey, that's a good price. I think most tyres are tubeless these days.

Yep, I agree - I just had a reply from another Aussie who availed himself of the same offer and he tells me his sidewalls are labelled as "tubeless". I'm going to give it a go without tubes - I don't envisage any real issues, but will obviously be looking closely at the rims for just how clean they are on the important bits, ie where the tyre beads seat, as well as check for runout.
