Easy job. Return it to original spec. :D

....so it doesn't go round corners at all?

The only thing I can say is with stndard with all the weight etc when you corner the suspension is still allowed to move and takes up the travel. With a lowered car it hits the bump stops and the whole thing becomes like solid so no movement. Then what ever the chasiss does the car will lean over and the arms etc will lean the same. Putting an anti roll bar would give the similar effect as it stops the arms doing what they are designed to do.

Nothing you have done to your car will make it more likely to fall over, with the possible exception of having more grip (less grip and the car may have slid instead).

Were you to attempt the same corner at the same speed in a standard car with drunken loons hanging out of the roof, it would have been at least, if not more likely to tip over.

I believe the reason it caught you out is that you've got into the habit of cornering it harder than you would a standard car. Standard suspension would have allowed the car to roll enough that you'd have seen it coming and backed off.

Not quite on-topic, but it's that kind of day... ;)

Russell was taking on not just gravity, but also inertia (and maybe some other stuff I cannot think of this morning).

Draw a cross-section picture of a 2CV and imagine where the centre of gravity is. Make a mark - it will not be far off the floor, say about seat level.
Get a piece of string with a weight one one end and stick the other on the centre of gravity. Tilt drawing until the vertical piece of string is outside of the wheels.

Repeat with fully laden cars - this time because of the people standing up, not sitting down low you will not need to tilt the drawing of the car as much before the string comes outside the wheels.

All to do with centre of gravity and where the centrifugal (centripetal pedants!) force acts.

If you really want/need to be technical then the following link might answer your need :-

Failing that don't drive your 2cv at speed in reverse and swerve providing your gearbox doesn't unwind before your have time to swerve

^^^^
Did that running away from the forestry commission once, I still believe what saved me was that my 'large' friend was in the passenger seat :O
