 Re: 652's?? dickie dawes built the engine in the acadiane its 10-1 compression means that it does pink slightly unless i use high octain fuel then it goes like the clappers. im not sure what he did to it and he fitted a light flywheel which i have changed for standard as it was shit uphill but quick off the line. this acadiane quick mind so not really that fast but better than standard. cracking engine

Re: 652's?? slightly off topic but don't want to start a new thread for a quick question, ken or sean  is there a difference between 8.5:1 and 9:1 pistons, is it the barrels that are different? can i fit different pistons in different barrels eg. 9:1 pistons in 8.5:1 barrels

Re: 652's?? Barrels are the same, yes, you can use 9:1 or 8.5:1 in the same barrels. I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago
