Both are right...... I made a table on the hurry.. It goes to 130.... so 160 is above 130 so it takes the numbers from 130....

and Harley you are also right, I should make higher map numbers ( the sensor can read up to 1.5 bar of boost) 250 in the table.....

But making a table like this work with the microcontroller this will throw me back
at least 2 months :x :x :x

I thought my approach was easier to understand, but if you like this table I will go back to the drawingboard!!!

Would like one that does 160 as I spend most of my time between - 0.2 and + 0.3 bar. If I could tune the bits between 0 and 0.6 bar that would be great. No rush

Today managed to get the table going,,,,, so now it is as good as any modern car!!!!!

You can export a file, manage the numbers as you like, import it again and burn it to the controller!!! or you can tune the table directly in the software..... Tomorrow I will test it in the car.....

Something I learned recently: my BX 1.4 engine has a little electric valve, which opens up at idle and engine braking to cancel the ignition vacuum advance (purely mechanical in the distributor). I read about it in a service brochure for the Mono Jetronic injection and then found it in my car, it's said to reduce emissions, but how exactly? When I bypassed the valve the engine started to rev a bit quicker, then the stepper motor closed the throttle a bit, so how is that worse for idle emissions? Have you heard about something like that, lpgo?

First test drive today was good, no pinking at all so can tune a litle more.

But I need to make the software proper working, which will take most of the time.

But it took less time then I tought to integrate a table......

A table like this can also been used for injection 8-) 8-) 8-)

I know a idle valve, its a sort of automatic choke, but what this does to emissions???? I know some Us cars are iddeling around 0 degrees or even after TDC to make lower emmisions (mid '70 cars) but they iddle like crap... has mabee to do something with that....

It's not any kind of choke, it's totally separated from the throttle body, it merely opens up to expose the vacuum advance diaphragm to atmospheric pressure, thus getting rid of any vacuum advance. I've left the manifold port connected _directly_ to the diaphragm for the last few days, not sure if there's any real difference but it's certainly not worse.

The idle valves I know are used as a choke, if firing up (a cold) engine the valve is open letting in extra air, so it idles at a higher speed, till the engine is warm or the idle rpm is reached.....
