(we where changing the fluorecent lighting) the products that were sprayed were put outside of the building, into the weather it all looked good to me the spraying process was electro-static meaning theres minimal paint loss all of the paint is attracted to the object being sprayed

This is also elctrostatic there are several "groundpins" at the end of the gun (where the powder comes out), the object needs to be attached to a wire, there's a pedal coming with it when you push it the current is activated.... and you can spray

Re: Do it yourself Powder Coating Starter Set..
Yesterday we did the first attempt to powdercoat, After the first thing which went a little wrong (powder not even distributed) and it hang to low so it couldn't go into the oven.... then we managed to get a flow, 1 piece in the oven 1 piece powdercoating 1 piece cooling down and it started to work... Engine cooling fairing looks great, better then when I would spraypaint it... Even at edges and holes it looks nice ad shinny (we used black gloss) I think it works, in all exitement we forgot to press the current pedal so a lot of powder fell down and still to mutch pressure on the hose, but it works better then I tought.. Had 1 piece already primered but that doesn't work the primer came off do to the heat of the oven, we need primer witch can deal the heat.. Now some very crap pics sorry for that, we are going to take better once. We is me and my wifes son.....

Re: Do it yourself Powder Coating Starter Set..
I think once you know how to do it right the whole cooling fairings of an engine will cost you about 7,50 euro (I can't do it in 2k for that).......
The oven is already to small for the things I want to powdercoat (front fairing of the engine)
Looking at the finish there are minor issues (dust??) but overall it is looking great, I didn't expect it to be so good......
