I found that the real key to longevity and reliability is keeping the air supply and the cabinet as dry as possible. Maybe run the compressor for five minutes before using the tank to remove the condensation from it, and drain the tank regularly. My sandblaster is always clogged up because our compressor fills up with water like mad. I've got two water traps on it but its hopeless. I used to use crushed iron at my last job and that stuff is great but very abrasive and obviously any moisture in it spells disaster.

Russ you are right, its the same over here, had the compressor running, no condense coming out. Put some crushed iron to it and had only condense the first 10 seconds...
but after that it works great here a video

I think I need a nearower??? hose to pick up the crushed iron, and a decent filter to let the air out and keep the material in but other then that it's running great :D :D :D :D :D :D

What about a second-hand vacuum cleaner from a junk shop? A filter from a scrap car or similar too.

Well what a coincidence I've got some airfilters from an old Citroen 2cv. Do you know those cars ;)
