Try to screw back the ring but the dogs may be allready out of place...

Thanks Taskos for the reply . I think that the dogs are in the wrong place. I did try to screw back the ring but i didn't make it . Anyway today i called a service spot for listen an estimated repair cost but i think nobody can give you a cost without see the damage.

SO at this point i don;t know what to do. And i am thinking that the realigned of the dogs cant happen with the gearbox on the car.

Anyway thanks for the replies guys .

i don,t know how easy they are to find in greece though, my brother has 3 spare gearboxes , they are plentiful here in the uk

digging an old thread..!

Guys i am happy to be here again as i took my 2cv from the repair spot a week ago. There were some broken parts and gears in the gearbox but now it is ok.

Sadly the most of the job i have done to the car wasted as it is now 2 years for the car sitting and not moving .

Anyway i am pretty happy that i am here again.

Be well guys.
