maybe, but this statement didn't seem to fit, since blocked transition drillings would only cause a problem on those occasions when the throttle was being opened slowly.

"If they're blocked, the car will hesitate or even stall when the throttle is blipped."

When the throttle is snapped open, the accelerator pump completely overrides any influence which the transition drillings could have had on the mixture entering the engine.
If the pump isn't working, there's going to be hesitation or backfiring even with the transition drillings clear...

:lol: I'll be passing along the M74/M73/M80/M9 and onto the A9 around 11am-12pm a week Friday, but I'll be Harry Flatters through there, to get to Wick by teatime. :D
