I know going off topic now but

How does French Bottled water got over the british "standards" when exporting then?

'Cause bottled water don't come out of our taps, it comes from the bottle?

diffrent standards over here - Bottled spa water from France (not mentioning any brands) does not need to comply and often doesn't come up to the standards of tap water in this country

Which would imply that the french tap water is better than their bottled water... But they are still happy to export their bottled water which from the previous statement must be sub standard to our bottled water or am i missing something?!!

No, of course not. That'd be disgraceful.

What does the missus say?
Plug leads and water dont really mix.Just spray some carb cleaner onto a rag and pull the lead through it while holding the rag in a clenched fist
.Perfect :P

dunno the legal bits of it probably due to EU protection of "Source" and the fact that we seem to be the only EU country that takes any of the rulings seriously

it was quite a high profile story a couple of years ago about the phosphate levels in some bottled mineral waters

then there was the rather amusing Desani or whatever it was called, case where it was withdrawn form sale in the UK because it got out that it was coca cola or pepsi simply putting London tap water into bottles and selling it as "more" pure
And if coca cola, pepsi and Nestle are in the market you got to smell a rat.

its a debate that usually comes up on proper radio - you know the one where being intelligent and actually thinking about stuff in a measured and balanced way on a regular basis is encouraged, rather than just shouty thick people interspaced with shouty adverts about the local carpet warehouses(Ken apostrophe help please!) massive massive sale. or papers that dont hack dead school girls phones or have tits as news- or even on telly but not on celebrity prog. or a bunch of twats from the public wanting to be famous in a house at Teddington

ah thats better i can cancel todays therapy session. :lol:

@dave 411
yes pistons fit in the mug rack rather nice
good way to get the last of the carbon dust and carborundum off after more industrial methods have been used to clean them
