Justin, i've got a fairly large sub and 2 6x9 speakers im boxes which barely fits in my boot, but when i need to get into the boot i just undo the 2 connectors on the back of my sub, slide it out and then im free to get whatever from under the shelf :)

I think I will stop bleating about my sub! I've just got the sub sitting in the middle. Get treble and mid from my tiny speakers on the self up-front. So I have less weight out back than the above!

It could be psychological, though I think there are a few bits that don't need to be in the boot, stuck right out the back there.

Are you sure that'll work?
Theres more heater ducting on a R/H Drive 2CV.....plus a washer bottle, headlight hieght adjuster bar and the brake fluid res.
I'm not saying it wont work, but it could be more trouble than its worth.

It can work as Tysons and my 4x4 can attest. I used plumbing pipe for the OS heater tube so it does not compress.

Thats a neat solution .....I see the air filter needed re-postioning too .....or is it a Dyane engine cowling? [the air pipe from the fan to filter would suggest to me that it is?]

Looks like a dyane cowling. Filter needs replacing anyway.
With the frame on page 2, the tire is under a angle over the filter, so that can stay in place. It looks like that aint gonna work on a RHD car.

So, it's possible to make one, but the filter needs to be moved, or place a small sports air filter

Yes its a Dyane cowling. The Tyre is a 155 M&S so bigger than a standard 2CV one so I suppose if you are using regular tyres there would be more space.

If you want I can take more pics or the frame and measure it up for those who want to make one.
