How is it going with the Carb flooding? Have you tried using a fuel pressure regulator. (assuming you've not lady solved it)

I think I know the issue for it... Testing the engine I only had the carbs attached to the rubber mounting at the engine. Now when the engine was shaking the carbs shaked 3 times heavier so the petrol was flooded into the inletchamber flooding the carb...

At least I hope this is it, at the moment I'm working at the real adaptorplate so didn.t test it anymore...

Post Jig saw time tonight.....
This evening I've started to drill, mill, jigsaw the real adaptorplate... It is made out of 6mm steel which I can later weld onto the 2 2cv engine mounts.... I will make a seame along the outer edge of the adaptorplate from 3x30mm steel connecting the Beamer bolt points to the 2cv bolt points... Hope you know what I mean...

Some pics of the day...

Mine has started getting mega over run recently.. a bit of playing about suggests the throttle bodies may need balancing.

@db78 you'll need to angle your throttle bodies outwards to clear the discs and callipers!

@little Louis... I randomly picked 2 2cv carbs and let the engine run, it was a great relieve how good they iddled the engine, without any synchronising.... so it can only getting better (I hope).. I will synchonise them with the pressure sensor of 1-2-spark....

@ db 78 what a spagetti of wires on a Original BMW wire-harnass... I think i wil have about 8 wires going to the engine when I'm finished...

The wiring will be looked at before fitting, plan to run it on the bench first.
Throttle body angled spacers are on my fabricating list.

Have also just got a GSA 5sp gearbox. Need to source a bellhousing next, I believe an LNA one?

That's right, visa or Lna are shorter, you just need to machine slots for the disk brakes.
