Well today the coolest place around here was in my garage, outside it was 35 degrees so spend the afternoon in my garage (22 degrees Celsius).

Put in the 1-2-Spark unit, which I've made about 2 weeks ago. 1 Visa coil for the left cilinder running in twin spark and 1 Visa coil for the right cilinder driving the 2 Sparkplugs of the right cilinder.. F"ck wasted spark.....

Underwhile I put the charger to the battery, took an cannister of petrol...

So ignition on 1-2-spark lights up and the petrol pump starts to run for about 8 seconds.. NICE. So we have petrol at both carburettors....

The carburettors are randomly picked and I didn't do anything to them

Then the first attempt.. The startermotor is to weak to turn the engine into compression
sh!t !!

So then on the plan B.. Took another battery and made a serie connection giving 24 volt to the starter engine,, so this will do you m'therf'cker....

Now here;s the result of the second attempt to start the engine.... Notice my live comment....

So I like it a lot, I guess you like it too.. Listening to the fast revving of the engine theres power enough in it... It is a standard 2cv flywheel didn't anything to it... so I know already theres enough power in the engine....

But it is loud, very very loud, it is half an hour ago but still my ears are ringing and Geert I guess you have heard it....

But now I need a starter engine from Eccas, but it sets me back 212 euro... Who can help we with this to make it cheaper, because now the startermotor is almost as much as the whole Beamer engine.......

And I need some silencers and some more silencers...

I still can't believe how well it runs at the 2 unsynchronised 2cv carburettors.....

So f'ck 2cv engines, Beamer engines rules.... and 1-2-Spark ofcourse.....

cheers Geo..

F...king hell it sounds great,i want one too :D

Believe me, you can't experience the real thing on this little video. Standing beside it,
it feels like a complete marching band is standing around you....

I've takeled the starter engine ishu?? I bought a fake Valeo D6RA43.... for 77 euro about 1 km from my home and it seems to do the job...... but at the moment I have holydays and I've promissed the missies to work at our house and garden......

so to be continued...

Out of steel??? or old fashioned   Aloy.....

I have a 1200 and I think you are doing a 1100, so it won't fit my Beamer engine otherwise I would love to test it......

Did start it today again, I think 1200 with 2 carbs and my ignition is the way to go, the only problem is is that the carb which is the most far away from the electric petrolpump is flooding all the time (tried 2 carbs). I don't understand I have a low pressure fuelpump...

Maybee I tried 2 crap carburators... will check another 2 or three lying somewhere around here....

Maybee I need a return fuelpipe.. I need to investigate more... Otherwise it is running nicely with a perfect sound (running on 800 rpm or so)...

Next I need to make my real adaptorplate and then choose a car in which to fit the engine....

I been told that it's no longer possible to alter engine sizes on a 2cv from original fitment i.e.. 425/435. Swoped for a 602 cc. With out a letter from citroen Any one confirm this

I haven't heard that but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

You have to have a receipt or proof of purchase for the engine, but it's been that way for a good couple of years.

Sounds like I'm playing catch up. The difference I think is a letter from the car manufacturer to say the vehicle can cope with the extra power as opposed to an engineer report on the change. But I may be wrong ( wouldn't be the first time. )

Assuming you're living in the UK, no that's not a thing.

At the moment I'm working on the definitive crankshaft spacer. However I have no experience at a lathe, the dimensions are spot on sofar.....

Today I ordered the bolts for the flywheel, spacer, crankshaft, they are cilinder-head-bolts from Opel and when these are in I can measure the patern of the bolts and can make the 5 holes into the spacer....

At the front the Aloy testspacer I made some weeks ago,(the engine has run on it) the real one is out of steel....
