Visa Sensors IE5099.pdf

Thank you Subarupete, but this is not an inductive sensor (it needs also power so 3 connections) for me these are all Hall sensors.

I'm going to order this one...

http://www.mecs.nl/documentatie/MM_Toerenzenders.pdf

look for sensor 674 004 1024 it is already M18x1.5 and the right lenght so this is plug and play.........

But again thanks for helping.......

8-) Can you get some pics of his set up? We have another 2CV'er down under about to do an SU + supercharger combo.

No, sorry I didn.t make pictures, (its secret for now) I'm glad he showed me but here's his website,
http://www.vgs2cv.be, he tunes 2cv engines, making 710 and 810 cc and crankshafts out of 1 piece
and connecting rods like normal cars have. (Garanteed to 90 hp)......

1.first time he entered 24 hours franchochamps he got 3.

That's great! can this be controlled from a switch/knob in the cabin

Of course Harley; what do you think, I now what you want/like........ (well almost...) (Thats what I want too and all the other 2cv/Visa drivers)

Will make a nice little video this week, when I have installed the switch in my cabin!!!!!!

Can 1-2-saprk be built with logic level (5 volt) ignition outputs to run "smart" coils with inbuilt ignitors/amplifiers?
The chip is delivering 5 volt, so theoreticly you can have 5 volt, but I don't know nothing about it, how long dus it need current and so on......
But again I don't think you need it. I'm driving a black coil yes even in my Turbocar
more then 1.5 bar of boost (so serious busssines) the supercharger yesterday gave max. .5 bar of boost (so far) and it didn.t mis a single beat..

1-2-spark is developing fast!
True, the only thing (and hardest thing to do (for me) is to make it plug and play,

I think with the new sensor I've got a solution for the Visa (I hope), so now up to the 2cv..
I don't like the welding a plate to the flywheel thing....

Testdriver "Number 1" "Mark SUPERFINN 4x4" is on his way testing 1-2-Spark and already taking it to the limit and beyond.......... read the whole story

So saturdy Mark dropped in with his Yellow Peril to collect his 1-2-Spark unit..

TestDriver "Number 1" back in the UK

Well the 1-2-spark has been running for 8 hours now and is running great. The weekend saw me drive from Germany to Oxfordshire so I could give it a long test on a route I've done countless times.

The first 300 or so miles are pretty flat but I had a head wind so normally would have been running on 2nd choke but not this time. Passing trucks was a breeze as well and there was none of the getting level with the cab and then hope that I have encountered before. Engine oil and cyliinder head temps were lower as well.

Back in the UK the weather was foul. As anyone who has been to Dover knows there is a big hill to the M20. Usually this is a 3rd gear hill for me but this time it was outside lane and 4th. I couldn't really believe pulling out behind a truck and still accelerating.

Later there was the hill on the M25 just after the M23 junction. Again that was done in 4th rather than 3rd.

Initial figures show MPG up by 3 which is good. Still got to set up the econosensor from the Visa and then do some more tests.

Switching from 123 to 1-2-spark takes 30 seconds so I'm planning to do some hill tests with both and 123 and 1-2-spark and then I'll post some more.

So there you have it. In my initial tests. MPG is better, Oil and cylinder head temps is lower, Power is up. Whats not to like.

Cheers Geo for a top product.

Post Re: 1-2-spark
1-2-Spark so far.

Well heres a little update......

My own car is running troublefree right from the first minit, starts at the first spark everytime so it is almost boring..... I set it up pinking deliberately, so that I can switch to the 2. advancetable and the pinking is gone..... (meaning it works).

Mark has troubles with the cold start of his engine, however when it runs it runs great he said.
Mark comes over the 29. of july and then he gets the newest improvements, shiftlight and tableswitch. (You can choose between 3 tables of advance now, for good, bad, and ugly fuel)

I hope then his starting issues will be gone too then.....

Ive got a second unit made to a Acadyane, running for a months now, (he's started a trip to Africa with it, it runs troublefree as far as I know...

Today I made my wifes Suzuki motorcycle running on 1-2-Spark, you must know it is a 4 cilinder configuration, so I can make 4 cilinders to run as well!!!!!!!! Will be posting some videos soon, it revs great.......

Now to the downside...

I've ordered 12 casings but they I don't here anything from that company, (other websites say they can't deliver, but thisone could). I payed 32,- euros but no casings. :x :x :x :x :x :x

So now I have ordered 1 new casing and I have to re-design the PCB-layout.

I have ordered some Hall-sensors too (so I can make a Visa plug and play)
and I have orderded some pressure sensors so you don't need a Visa box and I can do turbo/supercharger.......

Now this is how far I am right now.......

Are you planning on setting up some form of vacuum advance for stock-engined 2CVs? If so, I wanna be your test-driver too, this was the last thing that kept me just considering 123 instead of 1-2 (I figured I might not use so much of it's "tuneability" with a stock engine and vacuum advance seems useful) :)

@ Dyane61976
No I'm not forgetting you, when I got the new pcb's you are the first, to get one... (will take 3 weeks from now I guess)

@Saurus
I think theres an advantage 1-2-Spark vs 123 in every engine, theres a torque improvement from 800 to 3000rpm and yes you are right a map sensor will make it more fuel-efficient when not under full throttle, I think it will give you 2-3 litres a 100 km when cruising along, under full throttle there will be no diffrence.

Here a link to the map sensor......
http://nl.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Free ... EBEtQR8%3d

Megasquirt is using the same sensor; it measures to 1.5 bar of boost ( I did 1.5 bar only a few times in my turbo 2cv, it's the quickest way to destroy a standard 2cv engine, I guess it delivered 65/70hp then !!!!!)
