Re: Hose underneath floorboard
One other thing I noticed about the car is it's one of the best riding cars I've ever driven and goes over speed bumps incredible. I can hit a speed bump posted 15 mph at 30 mph and it goes over it like nothing!
The downside is, the car has incredible body roll. I initially thought the cylinders may leaking (assuming there is a dampening fluid inside the them) or the inner springs may be worn but I later read this was a characteristic of this type of suspension. And I've seen other 2CVs in YouTube videos with the same amount of body roll.
I did a quick search to see if there was any kind of anti-roll bar I could install at least on the front but have not turned up anything. I figured someone would have came up with something by now. Is there any thing that could be done to help this? Or is this impossible with this type of suspension?
Ironically, didn't Citroen later come up with a hydraulic system on the DS that pumps fluid from one side of the car to the other to level the car out around turns?
