My steering lock has been disabled and it's never ever been tested on an MoT. You might be asked for insurance purposes if one is fitted. By the way is this a 2cv or Dyane type lock? If it is the standard 2CV then the barrel is held in with a pin inserted from the top which means removing the assembly to drill it out. Don

Thanks Don That sounds promising. I think I'll put it on hold for the moment as I have fitted the alternative ignition switch. I experiment with my broken 2CV one when the Bedouin is on the road. Cheers
