Post Re: LED Bulb question
From memory your Joey has a connection half way down the cable - try swapping that over!
LED's will work with a lot less power than a "normal" bulb - so that shouldn't be the problem, but as Adrian says, polarity is important.
However, you won't get as much output with LEDs, they are much more directional (the best I've seen being 60deg each diode) and a normal bulb is 369, which the reflector in your JD is designed for.
If you run a 6v bulb on a 12v system, it'll just pop the bulb. or melt the LEDs. Sometimes they explode, which is fun.
If you've left them connected opposite polarity, that can kill them, depends on the reverse voltage rating, usually not very high as in theory with that type of bulb, you can't connect it reverse polarity in a standard H3 fitting.
On a side note I have a H3 bulb on a long lead for a tent light. Sorted.

I'm just intrigued by Tigger's 369deg bulbs. A little bit wrapped round that you can glue to the other end?

I was wondering about that, can you spread the extra 4 around the rest of it or does it overlap into a double brightness zone?

Probably because old calendars (such as the Persian Calendar) used 360 days for a year - when they watched the stars they saw them revolve around the North Star one degree per day. That shit ain't by chance... :ugeek:

Caused by the spinning effect on the light.
Not thinking fourth dimensionally etc etc.

In the fourth dimension you find people who can't type for shit.
