I used a piece of flat bar bent at 90' with a slot like above and attached the end with the bend to stub axle with a jubilee clip,it rotates nicely round to check the concentric's of shoes to axle centers.

I use an old alternator bracket welded to a rear hub nut with a hole drilled in the base of the strap to fit one of the front drum studs. Works for both front and back and cost me sod - all.

1 3/8" or 35mm inside diameter for the pipe fitting.

He's right you know
I'm searching our stores at work for some tube, then find some stainless bar to weld on.
Any other measurements available?

Found a piece of stainless tube, the exact size required!
Just need to weld the slotted bar on ( when I find some?)

Made you one last night!
Stainless steel, work of art!
i must cost our company a fortune!!!!
Well to be honest, i found the material in the scrap bin,
Ive not tried it yet, as i don't have my new brakes, but the principle of using the axle as the center to rotate the guide round seems logical.
Ive slotted the bracket so theirs loads of adjustment.
If you can forward your address, ill post it on.
