Where are you measuring that there is "no power to the fuse"? Fuse or fuse holder itself? Both sides?
This (from my experience of late night phonecalls<awaits quote and edit>) is that its the most common problem, most commonly misdiagnosed!)
If its not that, just burn the fecker like I tried to do at reg 2002.

Hetty had this problem. I couldn't find the issue so I ripped out all the wiring and re-did it. Problem solved 8-)

Turned out to just be the flipping ignition switch! We'd checked it once, and it made no difference, then after pratting about and removing have the loom tape, another check of the switch and it worked. Damn thing. My Dad's cleaned the contacts up now, and I believe the car is going back to its owner today, with its new engine running well.
