Right then,you have a spark,and fuel is running down the return pipe,have you removed the main jet?If not,take it out and check its not blocked.Its brass in colour,and If I remember correctly,is a 9mm spanner size.As you look at the carb,its situated halfway up (or down),facing the handlebars.Do you have fresh fuel?Unleaded fuel will go off,and if it has,you will never start it. Try these and let us know how you got on.

how the tyre pressure? had a testdrive on a solex once, with a tyre with low pressure in it.. thing would not start.. put some more air in the tyre and started directly..
