 Condensor Issues

It wasn't his condenser that was the problem. It was his newly rebuilt carb.

The float had fallen off and jammed sideways in the bowl somehow. Fixed in the field. :mrgreen:

Maybe it's time to buy these and split the pack 4 ways?
Nothing better for quick diagnosis of where a problem may be, fuel or sparks dept...

In fairness, when I posted this, changing the condensor sorted the problem, damned annoying coincidence that the float in the carb fell off the same day! So I blamed the condenser.

Thanks to all who helped isolate that issue!

if the float fell/falls off, i would avoid the carb rebuilder
floats dont "fall off" !

have a look inside a solex 40 - its pretty basic! theres a pin which hinges the float, it just slipped off. but yes I shall be calling them!

Or the cheaper option if your as tight as a ducks arse is to
Hold it and see if it gives you a bolt ;)
