 Re: Condensor Issues It wasn't his condenser that was the problem. It was his newly rebuilt carb. The float had fallen off and jammed sideways in the bowl somehow. Fixed in the field.

Re: Condensor Issues In fairness, when I posted this, changing the condensor sorted the problem, damned annoying coincidence that the float in the carb fell off the same day! So I blamed the condenser.
Thanks to all who helped isolate that issue!

Fixed in the field. if the float fell/falls off, i would avoid the carb rebuilder floats dont "fall off" ! ------------- i maybye totally wrong

Re: Condensor Issues have a look inside a solex 40 - its pretty basic! theres a pin which hinges the float, it just slipped off. but yes I shall be calling them!

Re: Condensor Issues Or the cheaper option if your as tight as a ducks arse is to Hold it and see if it gives you a bolt  Not recommending doing that....
