You can use a chock block to secure the wire to the coil, it's not the neatest but it's secure and ideal for emergencies.

+1 on these things, although they're slightly cheaper from Vehicle Wiring Products if you're going to need more than a couple. http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/V ... ullets.php Anything else looks 'bodgy' by comparison.
