Post Re: Wax, protection for the body work
well, I ordered the stuff that rustybus suggested,
hopefully itll be here early next week, so I can give it a go,
It is pricey, but hope the price reflects it
I chose to go for the "kit" where they give you polish applicater pads etc, thought for a few quid I might as well get the full monty, and try and do something properly for a change

Im even going to go to the effort of rolling the roof back when i do it so that i acheieve full potential when polishing for the beading and protection effect

My only question is, this stuff last "months"
well actually this is a question ill answer over time, but how long will it really last? how often will i need to re apply it?
In the winter I tend to wash the car on a weekly bassis, from top to toe, in every single crevis underneath, I will still continue to do this even though ive got this polish on, but will a detergant car cleaner remove the coating?
If so ill just re apply every week :D

Well on the panda i washed it, dried it, put the polish/wax on, and it still beaded 6 months later. But i would recommend topping up the wax once a month in winter, and every 3 months in warmer (salt free) weather.
