( I'd best go in to hiding for a while, as the fundamentalists will be after my blood.
Might be able to fight them off for while with chunks of rusty chassis, broken fan pulleys, worn-out track rod levers and other bits of junk as ammunition... ;)

just leave it doing the jumper thing effectivley bypasses it, it also leaves a ignition on 12v supply if you trace the wire- usefull for radios and the like

just checked wifes car and the two relays are mounted to the left of the battery one above the other which is the one that needs the bridging wire the top or the bottom one?

They both need removing. You bridge the one with the same plug as in the posted picture above.

one plug has 5 wires the other only four ....you bridge the one that has 5 wires and remove both relays

if you look very closely the terminals are marked with tiny numerals - its 1 and 5

Also a good idea to fit relays to take the load off the headlamp switch,
Different mallter though
