 Re: Fibre glass oanels
The Dutch Ami vereniging did/does? have "plastic" Ami 6 wings, there on my Ami6 service, they made/make also panels for hy, ak and so on..... Why don't you make a plastic body for the 2cv now that would be great... I would love to buy one.... For a galvanished 2cv body people pay 4000 euro......... !!!!!!!

 Re: Fibre glass oanels
I don't want really decent panels, especially if there kept as examples for the future. I've been Offered useable ami rear wings Which I can use. Price wise, I have no clue. I'm hoping that they will cost about 70 pounds each, The mould is going to be time consuming to make. But we will see
If there's enough interest I'll look into it more in depth

 Re: Fibre glass panels, production??
Will you sort your bloody spellchecking out?
I had GRP wings on the Ami that RT now has. Whilst it's a good idea I'm pretty sure almost everything is already being made in GRP. New bonnets would be a start.

 Re: Fibre glass panels, production??
I rang smith and (little joey) deacon about their ami8 wongs/winds/wings and they told me they could do them if they could find the moulds and be bothered. Basically, they tried to talk me out of buying them because they couldn't really be arsed to do one pair. That was 6 years ago now though, maybe they can be bothered now?
James, why not have a stab at those wing valence panels? Nice and easy to do and everybody has bent steel ones on their cars.

 Re: Fibre glass panels, production??
Russ that's a good idea
Wish I'd bid on this straight ones on eBay a few days back As mine are bent I'll need some to mould. But I can test them on my car I suppose
