You can make some draught excluders for your front windows by cutting strips off an old camping rollmat and gluing them onto the window edges. And yes, it will make a huge difference. Otherwise (and I speak as someone who drove around with no doors or windscreen for a lot of last year), get yourself a woolly hat and a fleece. And a scarf.

The original rubber mats don't help either, they also allow the heat to escape.

Jameswallace wrote: Rhythm Thief wrote: You can make some draught excluders for your front windows by cutting strips off an old camping rollmat and gluing them onto the window edges............ do tell me more!! It comes ready rolled, cut & glued from B&Q .... ....the pack reads "Enough for three doors" ....thats about enough for 30 2CV's [by my rough reckoning] ....take the roll along to your local club night and you'll be most popular bloke in the pub,you can do all your pals 2CV's too .... Fitted ..... ....scrape all the old adhesive off [with a sharp knife] and then clean the glass well first [with meths/celly thinners/acetone or summat similar] ....there's no way it'll stick to dirty glass. And cutting an old piece of carpet to size is hardly rocket science .....use the rubber mat as a template/pattern .... And dont put the carpet under your rubber mat,cos all it'll do is hold water when it gets wet ......and ultimately rot the floor. T.

Homebase, James? Any DIY store will stock draught excluder.
