The late great Jeroen Cats has the diagram on his site http://www.cats-citroen.net/images/phot ... hassis.jpg

Re: Waxoil the chassis, drilling points?
I think that is the one I just ordered, bit like a haynes manual only better? They show pictures of the chassis but not a clear view of where to drill. I ask the question on 2CVGB and someone has supplied me with a diagram of the drilling points.

I've never had great joy using "actual" Waxoyl - and the fact it comes from the same people as Hammershite gives me great pause. I've heard a lot of good things about Dinitrol's waxes - and the fact they actually do different products for underside use and for inside box sections makes me even more sceptical about the "one-size-fits-all" of Waxoyl. http://www.rust.co.uk/dinitrol-products.cfmI've got a Schutz gun for my shiny new compressor, so a few of their 1l Schutz containers, and Bob will be my slightly waterproofed uncle...

Yes I was thinking Dinitrol was the way to go.

Dinitrol is very good, way better than Waxoyl, but also have a look at the Bilt Hamber stuff it's very good. http://www.bilthamber.com/dynaxs50.htmltoomany2cvs wrote: Devils Advocate wrote: I really think Waxoyl-type products are the best possible stuff to use Absolutely, but I'd put the emphasis on "-type". Bilt Hamber is what i've been using lately. Dynax wax seems to be top notch - leagues ahead of waxoyl.

Re: Waxoil the chassis, drilling points?
I have to say that my comments are based on the 'original' Waxoyl made by Finnegan's. I have bought Waxoyl recently and it's the product by Hammerite - and it's clearly different, although I don't know what it's like as I haven't used it yet. If it's worse, then that would be very disappointing - why on earth take over and destroy a good product?!
I have certainly heard good things about Dinitrol, but haven't used it either. I would still maintain that wax-based products - those that can simply not be 'lifted' by water, or peel in any way - is the way to go.
