Yes, I did the 'pins with the arms still on the car, and it was jacked up one side at a time. Everything else seems to be good, though I didn't touch anything that I didn't have to to change the kingpins. The car drives perfectly. I'll have a better look at the alignment of the front wheels to each other tomorrow, and get it tracked of necessary (I don't know how to do that).

Must have been plenty of play in that kingpin, btw...  ken I changed the left one first, (which made no difference to the steering wheel's position), and today I did the right one, and the straight ahead position on the steering wheel then moved from 6 o'clock to about 5 o'clock. Oh 'eck. Can I blame my stupidity on the fact that I'd just got back from the pub when I wrote that? You see, it's not gone from 6 to 5 o'clock, it's gone from 6 to 7 o'clock...
