 Re: whats your m.p.g?
Being a bit of a geek sometimes, I've got a spreadsheet on my phone to work out fuel economy. Since November, it's achieved 40.6mpg. That's on pretty much every type of road going, but mostly short town journeys to and from work. So I'm fairly happy with that! That's 1524 miles, and 170.28 litres of unleaded. I'm in quite a good mood at the moment so I'm not even going to attempt to work out how much all that petrol has cost me!

Probably get about 200 - 250 miles to a tank. It's done a 15 mile commute every day this week and the petrol gauge is still just over half after being filled up on Monday.

I reckon that you'll struggle to get a better answer than Luke's given. Drive it as though you've stolen it and the mpg/lpkm will be worse, drive it as though your mum's a passenger and it will be better... ken Luke wrote: Being a bit of a geek sometimes, I've got a spreadsheet on my phone to work out fuel economy. Re: whats your m.p.g?
Well I was thinking of ways to improve the fuel economy but it looks like I have nothing to worry about, I have worked it out several times I am definitely getting 45mpg. Lovely.

Last count 43.17 just pootling backwards and forwards round town! Best I got was 49 point summat driving sensibly long distance! This is rather handy http://www.torquecars.com/tools/uk-mpg-calculator.phpMy dirty old engine used to vary wildly from low 30s to low 40s!

 Re: whats your m.p.g?
I have'nt checked my mpg [in my 2CV] for years. If I want "miles per gallon" I take my C4 [1.6hdi]. If I want "smiles per gallon" the 2CV wins every times. I doubt if my 2CV would do 200 miles on a tankful though.
