I've been speaking to some laser companies today about making the rubber parts and a steel clamp so I can make these up as kits to sell for folk who can't weld their breather back together. Trying to make a kit to retail for less than £20. I'll keep yo'all posted.

£20 sounds like a bargain - especially when you see the alternative.

Whilst pouring some liquid gold into my Deuce I wondered if you cut a disc of your favourite rubber ( no not that sort of rubber) The same diameter as the inside of breather and just dropped it on top of the perforated steel mesh filter, would this not act as a valve on depression? It might be that you would have to anchor one side so it's more like a flap valve. What do you think folks?
