Cough, just want to mention; Dyane C-pillar is available from ECAS for next to nothing and it's a bloody good part.

The bit from ECAS is easily enough to do both sides and has the right profile, I'd show you it fitted but don't know how to post photos from the iPhone.

In Holland a company rebuils body's, they have a starting price of € 5.495,-, depending on the state of the body you have..

In the link below a picture can be found of the parts that are changed mostly (red)

Why not contact ECAS direct and ask them? PM Roy Eastwood via this forum or email sales@ecas.co.uk

I do not think it is a matter of what you WANT to spend for restoration, but more what CAN you spend on restoration!
By spending money for restoration , do you mean if you have someone who will do the restoration for you, so let´s say I would ask 2cvkeza to restore my 2cv for me? Or do you mean if I would restore it myself ?

I suspect there are two sorts of 2cv owner in terms of restoration pricing.

I'm of the opinion that I'd rather do it myself badly, even at slightly higher cost than getting someone else to do the work. But then I like to have done things myself, if I wanted a car that needed next to no work I'd buy something with low milage from the last 10 years (and with the price of second hand cars in the UK thats a very cheap option).

Those people who spend 6k on a restored 2cv will probably quite happily pay a fortune when it needs another restoration though.

Greetings from Australia.
Janez, prices on restoration begins at 2000 euro coins and all the way to 18.000 euros. 1 mob in France are asking 18.000 for complete job, seen a company in Belgium asking around 10-12.000 euros for same job, you can find them on Youtube. This means that some people are ready to fork out lots of money. If you ask many hobby folks, the prices drops to next to nothing. Our average partly repair jobs we do are around 4-5000 euros but jobs are not complete and I really don't like them. Things are changing and more money are now used on A models.
The question is really what do you get for your money, seen plenty of shit job or rip off jobs too. I know your skills are tops so don't worry too much, go for it.
Cheers
Viking
