Did a compressioncheck a month or so ago,
But do it with hot or cole engine?

Does your engine screw around and text pictures of its tadger to bimbos?

comp check on a hot engine with the throttle wide open......that's what most engine builders tuners and garages check- try it once you have done the tappets.

points and condenser or 123? One cylinder sounds like the "less than100%battery/123 issue". if its on points then clean them replace them and gap them properly - good leads plug gaps.
then when all that's done check the mixture and read up on starting procedure from the handbook.

if all the ignition is in good order and all the bits on the carb work properly then there is no reason for your car to not start at temperatures down to -10

Oko I'll do all of that

Chris kindly came over to tinker theother day, we checked timing with the strobe to see how accurate my test lamp method is, spot on perfect.

Only problem Is I've lost my tippex marks I think

Hopefully I'll remember set up. Think it was 2 teeth after peg in flywheel hole

Anyway shall replace points and condenser and do tappets, plugs,
and read up on starting as I've had a few problems recently with choking the engine too much sometimes and not having any power,
Both occasions this happened I'd used the car a few hours previously so maybe I'm chokingn in correctly.

Thanks boys :)
