Post Gearbox removal
Quick question (for many this will be a bit of a  question: apologies!)
What's the best way to disconnect the handbrake cable on a disc brake gearbox when removing the gearbox? Do you take the cable off at the handbrake end, or at the discs? And if you take it off at the handbrake end, what's the best procedure?

I always remove cables from the calipers. This gives me the opportunity to service the cables and the pads.

X2 for calliper end

(tho' sometimes i leave them on the levers by un bolting the levers from the calipers at the 14mm af bolts through the adjusting excentrics)
