The fact that we drive C2 Dollys is anti-theft enough for about 98% of thieves

Post Re: Anti-theft device
Out of interest I tried breaking into dads car, with the aid of an aluminium fork I managed to break in and 'hot-wire' it in under 10 seconds... Which is quite satisfying, but also a little worrying.

Of course making it difficult to drive away won't prevent anyone determined from nicking it, but if it takes 5 minutes to start, as opposed to 10 seconds, surely that will help deter opportunistic theft?

Not really
If you have a kill switch they'll lift the bonnet and wonder why the battery's dead
If you put a switch in the live to the coil, then when said thief hot wires it, it will just crank but not start
