Not a bad idea I have a spare dishwasher out in the garage just sat there for the last four years not used its only crime is that it's the wrong colour!!

We have a Black Smeg dishwasher (load of crap!!!)just cos it matches fridge and washing machine whilst a much better (at cleaning) white one sits in the garage collecting dust

Sean and others,

It is not often I feel I can give much technical advice, but I really am very unsure that putting an engine in a dishwasher is the best way of cleaning it.

Smeg or no smeg

However...

If you take your left thumb and middle finger and place them gently on your right earlobe, lift both feet off the ground and assume the inverted tree pose whilst gazing forward into a visualisation of organic WD40 and Swarfega (they do one now from the body shop - it smells randomly of lime and Hamster urine -...... with added lumpy bits that are recycled form the bean bags from the 1970s)

NEXT ...

Place your right hand on the meridian point of your solar plexus, noticing of course that your 7th Chakra will then form a beautiful bubble of protection at this time of equinox. The balance to the array of pink lotus flowers will extinguish the flame in the Ether/Spirit of the abundance of your earth energy and the great mother will bring forth a new and lovely realm from the old mighty ones turning your imbalance of satsuma energy into the one of pure radiant Tenants Extra. The Golden Triangle that exists in your dishwasher is one that the Goddess of dark light might cast to the power of the sacred circle. So draw down the spirits of the nine quarters, the fifteen elements, let your journey into the upper world create a presence of your ancestors with the animal and totem power of your dreams and your oracle of "love and light" be one of expanding healing yin/yang Brahmacharya and your soul and Chi will flow right into the mug rack of your plug leads.

Sorry to say that if you cancel a therapy session with me at this late a time I will still invoice you for half the fee !!! (that’s £20 please  )

Failing that, isn't any solvent going to clean grease from your oily bits ? Ylang Ylang and the essential oils of Sage, Jasmine combined with an infusion of St Johns Wort herbal tea washed off with a massive Kartcher patio jet washer blast and wire brushing down on the bit hidden around the corner from the wife, where a few stains and marks are unspoken about, (until she hangs the washing out and wonders why something’s looking a bit weird in those unmentionable areas, and changes back to powder after all this double action, extra gel Ariel actilift with fabreze nonsense)…..normally sorts out my own big end and produces a clean camshaft ? …

I did once try colonic irrigation to clear my pipes, but even I ( ) have to self moderate what I say in "public"....happy to answer questions by PM

Hope this helps.

This reply was brought to you without animal testing, it may contain nuts although is fairtrade and only has a trace element of sodium. It is typed on a keyboard that was made from Tofu by Buddhist monks supplied by energy from Celtic dream workers who do an interesting sideline in making things from bits of cotton, old wool, some feathers and bits of wire to hang in your window.

I've changed my mind....I will send you the twenty quid....my therapy session no longer needed either.....

....reckon I might squirt a load of oil over my engine and keep it really dirty....

SAM....please also do take this as my first contribution to 2CVGB magazine....
