Post Re: assistence with paint
used crown "one coat" in the past on all my vw vans- always get solvent based oil paint the water based alkyd resin "gloss" just arent

use one of those foam rollers, when it first goes on it foams and makes lots of tiny fish eye /pin hole bubbles, dont worry just get the whole panel covered, then give it a few minutes for some of the solvent to flash off, then go over again with the roller-dont load it with paint, use barely any pressure just skimming the surface popping the bubbles

as it dries the alarming looking texture floats out and should dry to a surface that looks like spray texture

couple of weeks and you can cut it back and polish

cheap paint job for a ratty run around....your not going to win registers

Wear a mask and gloves, be in a ventilated space, and brush it on. The main danger of 2 pack is the ingestion of atomised particles during spraying. If you're brushing 2 pack it isn't atomised, and as it cures by chemical reaction and not evaporation you should be ok.
