 upol etching primer
rigt you lot how do i get this stuff to work
got some sprayed it on the windscreen repair after stripping off the protective black stuff ( which you do have to remove kiddlywinks)
gave it a night to dry and it just scratches off the surface
does it go on thick? does the metal have to be warm?
in mean tme using zinc rich brush on primer as its served me well over the years much tougher and much more sticky

 Re: upol etching primer
Was the surface degreased and keyed beforehand? It only needs to be a thin-ish coat Sean over which normal primer is then applied.
TBH I would prefer to use rustbeaters epoxy primer, epoxy is far tougher than etch primer and can be used under any type of finish.
