some of the 'bonnet hinge repair' panels weren't quite as well made as they should have been, so the incorrect profile of the hinge section allows the mating bonnet hinge to drop down.
You need to close up the hinge on the body side a little, using a piece of hardwood and a hammer.
Work your way along the hinge, tapping it down and keep checking that the bonnet still fits and opens OK...
