Sure but it (I) do NOT suggest to peen between the groves as you are stating. The photo illustrate that the peening was done with a center punch and that it didn't hold. The selectot ring began to unscreew, therefore it appears that the peening was done between the groves. Do you really believe that I am that stupid. No please don't answer, I think I know it.
