Post Rear inner wings
I have a lot of rust on one of the rear inner wings of my 2CV Spécial. When I cleaned off the mud inside with a pressure washer - to see how bad it was - there was mud all over the back seat.

The local garage man is happy to have a go at repairing it - and he has been working on a 2CV himself for the last few years - he says it's his wife's.

I offered to get the repair parts myself so all he'd have to do was the welding/brazing (or whatever).

Two questions.

What other parts should I get - the rubber bump stop (the mount is part of the panel), obviously, but what else? The actual rear wing looks reasonably OK (ignoring the dents, that is).

I can see ECAS has the repair panels, but I'm in France. Can it really be true that Mehari Club here in France (and where I have a discount card) doesn't stock them? Perhaps my ability to navigate through their website with my imperfect French is at fault.

Suggestions welcome.

I should have just called you, Bob. But in fact Mehari Club Cassis don't have them (so I wasted my money on the discount card!), and both of those look like the ones from ECAS - and I've discovered, all made in Belgium. There's some minor variation in the prices but you're right, they're not cheap!

I've now ordered them (just one, in fact, the other side will do).

Thanks again.
