 Seats
Hi! I've got a front seat set, and are going to restore them to use in my project car. The driver seat got back adjustment, which is nice. The frame is grey, and the corners on the back are asymmetric. Just of curiosity, what car are they from? Don't think 2cv's had that type of seat covers?

 Re: Seats
Take the covers off, so we can see them naked.

 Re: Seats
'Adjustable backrest angle' seats were featured on both Amis and the driver's seats of "German spec. 2CVs", in my experience. The difference, if any exists, would be that the German spec. seats would also have headrests... . p.s. The Ami versions are slighty wider and foul the seat belt spool on a Dyane, so probably have the same problem when fitted in a 2CV.

 Re: Seats
I will measure the with tomorrow, but as you can see from the photo, it looks as one side goes outwards, compared to a 2CV seat. And the fabric is used on AMI's I know for sure. So unless there exists 2CV's with the same fabric as the AMI, it seems these seats must then be from an AMI. Was just curious what they have been in. The German 2CV seats with back adjustments are painted black as far as I know. I have a 2CV with those. But maybe very old German seats, but it seems unlikely. I also have a bench seat from an AMI 6 which I'm considering using. It's 5 times more comfy than a 2CV seat. Amazingly soft, and more support for the thighs. Already modified the seatmountings, so it fits in the 2CV. But it is, as Ken mentions, wider than the 2CV seats. So I need to figure out how to mount the seatbelts, if using the bench.

 Re: Seats
I think I would like to try a front bench seat in the Shedouin. That may stop me losing my glasses case between the seats Edit If the was a front bench seat that the back support tipped forward, that would be useful when I'm camping.
