Just stick it in the bin and buy a 1-2 spark and you can have bottom end and top speed - SIMPLES :)

Yes, I would love one of those but reading on here they are unavailable at the moment. I've been merrily cleaning up my points box when I realised not only new points but the cam is worn.

Sparkle and power is now restored, gone for points assisted and not a lot of difference from the club cassis ignition on starting apart from tick over not as smooth. Power again stronger from the midrange up,with no flat spots or hesitation.

I've been running one of those Gammatronix for around 2 years now and they are very reliable and certainly improves starting and seems to extend plug and points life

Gammatronix £25 off Ebay. Definitely a noticable improvement over the standard points set up (with yellow coil ) I had previously.

I'd remove those metal bands holding the coil as they are positioned idealy to track out your HT, replace them with plastic or rubber mounts :-)

About DG-NITION. Friend of mine "burned" one, after two years without driving the voltage regulator didn't work right and the alternator made over 16 volts, that was too much for ND-NITION...

As you see, there is one burnt trace on PCB, and that is because the protection-diode on supply burnt to short. Just soldered that trace and on next week I'll buy new diode there, but now it works again...

Don't care about those green LEDs, I put them only to monitor the IGBT... And very, very professional test bench...

Well, it is only electronics. And simple one at this time, I'm quite sure almost anyone who knows something about electronics could see where the problem was...

Also I have repaired few 123-ignition units, cost on them was less than one €uro... And, why not try to repair, it gives a great pleasure to find the reason for malfunction, and have repaired the unit, and also it is a way to save some money (instead to buy a new one)...
