Matt where are you? I have a few sets of ignition kicking around if you want to play with them. There are differences between the weights & cam assembly from different engines, bigger weights on M28 engine and the cam has a 'blunter' profile (thanks to Ken for pointing this out on another thread) and a shorter dwell. The bits don't mix! ;)

Well the points are back in and timed and dwell set up
It seems to have lost a little mid range torque . I guess the advance curve is slightly different to the 123
I will see how it starts in the mornings
The plugs are back out to .7 mm

Its been 1st time starting now for the last few months since the points went back in
so it looks like the 123 was causing the problem
