but that is all to modern those gps things I have the same adjusters as the plane in my airguide compass.. But the silva compass has adjusters too, you also have metal boats with electrics and there it has to work too no?

and on a boat there are no roads you set off in a direction for a set period of time - cars kinda have to stick to the roads and you dont have much choice.
