Agree Sam maybe it was assumed tank was metal though not sure?! :|

Pretty sure the idea is that the original spade terminal for the earth wire will be to rusty to be much use, or have fallen off entirely. As the terminal is just spot welded to the sender body, any point on the unit will do as an earth connection. This includes the mounting screws which, if you're lucky, might be hiding the last bits of shiny plating left on the outside!

He's not suggesting you run a tiny bit of wire from one point on the sender to another, but rather run the earth wire from a tank/chassis bolt to a sender/tank screw.

Talking about fuel tanks

I am about to put into production
Fuel tank under guards for the Plastic tanks
Steel folded part from 1.5 mm MS

As far as i am aware no one produces this item and the original citroen offered part does not
Fit all late cars.

its Bolt on and should suit all types of chassis.

Ideal for green lanes and raid etc

so will post some pictures possibly next week
